I have sensitive skin. What products do you use?
I use a wide variety of products, ranging from well-known, over-the-counter brands to specialist items. I’m experienced in dealing with hypoallergenic products for problem skin types, and I’ve personally suffered with eczema over the years, so can appreciate the frustration of problem skin.
I don’t usually wear a lot of make-up, so how will I know what style to go for?
I recommend collecting ideas from magazines, tearing out any pictures that you like the look of. Normally, you’ll have thought about your hairstyle when choosing your dress. So, we’ll start from there to build up a picture of the kind of ‘look’ that you want. I’ll always endeavour to make you feel comfortable with a natural look that’s perfect for you.
Do I have to purchase any products?
No, not at all. I utilise my extensive hair and makeup kit. You can of course choose what products you would like to buy for yourself (if you wish to), knowing that I will be bringing them along on the day as well. The only thing you will need to buy is lip colour, as this will need touching-up during the day.
Does makeup need to be applied heavily for the wedding photos?
To an extent, this is the case. Makeup has to be a little stronger than for everyday wear in order to register in photos – otherwise features can appear a little washed out. With very careful application, your makeup will not look heavy and will last throughout the day.
How many people can you fit in on the wedding day?
As many as you like. However, I recommend that if there are to be more than four people, then assistants are utilised.
Do you cater for different skin tones?
Yes, certainly - my makeup kit contains foundations to cater for every skin tone.
